# NQD CLI - [Landing page](https://cli.nqd.app/) - [Install macOS/Linux](https://cli.nqd.app/install.sh): `curl -fsSL https://cli.nqd.app/install.sh | sh` - [Install Windows PowerShell](https://cli.nqd.app/install.ps1): `irm https://cli.nqd.app/install.ps1 | iex` - [Release downloads](https://cli.nqd.app/#downloads) - [Checksums](https://cli.nqd.app/releases/latest/SHA256SUMS) Authentication: nqd login (OAuth PKCE) or NQD_API_KEY (CI). API origin: NQD_API_ORIGIN. Auth origin: NQD_AUTH_ORIGIN. Source model: Invoice = incoming service source; Income = other incoming cash; Expense = outgoing source paid to a selected Vendor; Payout = outgoing source paid to a selected individual Contact; Asset = non-cash holding. A Transaction is a separate cash event, so sources can be unpaid or partially paid. No Client means Workspace-owned. Entries are reusable priced units; Modifiers apply supported fixed or percentage increases or decreases to an Entry or source. REST resource operations have native commands. Authentication uses nqd login. Native commands start with the resource name: nqd invoices, nqd invoices create, nqd invoices , nqd expenses, nqd clients, nqd reports income-statement, and nqd workspaces. Use nqd workspaces use to save the workspace used by later commands. Use nqd help and nqd help for generated command help. Common short flags include -n, -d, -l, -s, -o, -c, -w, -j, -b, -q, and -t. Use `nqd help ` for the fields supported by each native command.
